With Hurricane Bill steadily approaching and forecasted to run east of Bermuda, Folly Should be receiving some truly epic swell this weekend so pack up the kids, grab the boards and head on down to the beach . Waves should be maxing out and overhead on Saturday afternoon so wax up and get ready for a great weekend out in the sun and surf. High tide should be just after 10am so dawn patrol will be where it’s at and the best time to take advantage of these great conditions. Winds will be offshore and about 10 mph which should stand the waves up nicely and give us that sweet blow-back mist that we all love so much. It’s not often that we get to brag about the waves on Folly, but this will truly be a weekend worth remembering and will without a doubt get us through the cold winter. Parking will be at a premium so the earlier the better and remember that sunscreen because the sun will be blazing. Make sure to keep an eye on the rip currents and even if you don’t venture out into the water come on down because the show should be totally awesome.

Also fresh fruits and veggies will be on hand as well as local arts and crafts at our Saturday Folly Farmer’s Market and when you can’t take another ray of sun, cool on down with The Reggae Nights Summer Concert Series at the James Island County Park, starting at 7:30.  See you all there!
