It’s Second Sunday Event on King Street
With temps in the low 80’s and picture perfect blue skies, the weather forecast couldn’t be any better this weekend, and there’s no doubt pedestrians will command King Street again with another closing of the beautiful and unique King Street to all vehicular traffic beginning Sunday March 13. The event, Second Sunday on King Street, will make King Street pedestrian-only from Broad Street to Calhoun, 1:00-6:00 PM on the second Sunday of March.
King Street shops will be able to display their wares outdoors and restaurants can offer table service in the street. Restaurants with Sunday permits can serve adult beverages to seated patrons outdoors.
So if you’re in the neighborhood, stroll on over to King Street this weekend and enjoy this fabulous Charleston weather!
