The Crescent

Fewer than five minutes from the heart of historic downtown Charleston is West Ashley’s The Crescent. Without a doubt one of the premiere neighborhoods in Charleston, The Crescent is a blend of traditional home styles, an ideal location, and beautiful natural surroundings flourishing with colorful blooms. The neighborhood was established in the 1920s and the oaks and pines have matured, offering shade and beauty to the area. Homeowners enjoy the privacy and relaxing atmosphere offered by quiet streets leading past lakes and green spaces, including a number of homes with waterfront access to the Intracoastal Waterway.  Walk to the nearby shopping center South Windermere for coffee, office supplies, or some groceries. There is also a local independent movie theater nearby.

A native of South Carolina, Beth Huntley grew up with a love for the waterways, marshes and beaches that make the Lowcountry unlike any other place.

Upon receiving a B.F.A. in Interior Design from The Savannah College of Art and Design, she began her professional career in Hilton Head as an interior designer, working on an array of high end, residential projects.

After nearly 20 years of design work in her own business, Beth made the decision to channel her design energy and wealth of experience in construction and renovation along with a focus in sustainability and energy efficient practices, to a career in real estate in 2004. An experienced real estate investor in her personal life, Beth puts the lessons of her own experiences to work for her clients.

True to her passion for Charleston, Beth lives what she loves – both as a resident of Charleston and as a Board Member of Lowcountry Local First, Board Advisor to Green Wizard, Inc., a member of the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors and the American Society of Interior Designers. She has served as Chairperson for The Sustainability Institute of SC, Coastal Association Chair of the ASID, Past President of the Center for Women and Corporate Sponsorship Chair for The Gibbes Museum of Art.
