Sandy Hall gained an early appreciation for art, architecture and history during his high school years, when he and his parents lived in Brussels and traveled throughout Europe extensively. This appreciation came in handy when he decided to move to Charleston in 1999.

“My brother and his wife had lived here since the early ‘80s, downtown and on James Island, and I visited frequently,” says Sandy. “Charleston is the first place I ever moved to that was based purely on my desire to live here, and I’ve honestly never looked back.” After initially settling on the Isle of Palms and in Mount Pleasant, Sandy found his ideal place – James Island.

For 14 years, he’s been helping others find their perfect fit in the Charleston area, working in general brokerage and in new home sales for several years. “When I work with buyers, I want to find the home that delivers, where they’ll make countless memories with family and friends,” says Sandy. “But I also take equal satisfaction in working with clients to list their home. When you work with someone so closely on such a personal goal, it’s almost like you’re a part of the family. And you want to get the best results for ‘us.’”

Sandy has worked with a full spectrum of clients from first time and seasoned buyers to second home and investment buyers. Over the years, he’s learned several lessons from each type of client, all of which have made him a better and more knowledgeable real estate professional, and an expert in Charleston real estate. His eight years active duty in the Air Force fostered an ongoing appreciation for all those who serve or are veterans. He is well versed with VA benefits as regards purchasing a home.

When he’s not working, Sandy is an advocate for volunteering for local non-profit organizations, like Habitat for Humanity, and at local events. “I volunteered for the Charleston Tall Ships Festival a couple of years ago and it was such an amazing spectacle, seeing these majestic boats with their lines and spars visible in the air over the “Holy City” … It reinforced just how special it is to live here. You can almost picture yourself walking along the harbor in days gone by.”
