← Meet Our Real Estate Agents

Sharon Welch, an Atlanta Georgia native, began her career in real estate in 1983 and remains a licensed broker there.  She and 30-year business partner and husband, Ron, relocated to Seabrook Island 2005.

Her experience spans commercial and residential real estate, development partnerships, site acquisition, conservation zoning, new construction, and property management.  In 2004, she and her husband became part of the ownership group of Bohicket Marina on Seabrook Island.  She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Bay Pointe Community on Seabrook Island and Sea Dogs.

Sharon is an advocate for nature preservation and loves hiking, boating, and is an expert marksman.  She was the Coastal Resource Manager for Botany Bay Island; working with the South Carolina Nature Conservancy from 2011-2015.  

Sharon is often accompanied by her beloved Scottish Terrier, Brodie.  Brodie, handled by Sharon is now retired from the show ring. Sharon remains active with the AKC and advocates for animal rights.
