South Carolina native Ann Shimer was born and raised right here in Charleston. She earned an undergraduate degree from USC in Hotel, Restaurant, & Tourism and then MBA from the Citadel evening school. Her father was a real estate developer so she naturally had a passion for real estate and got her real estate license in 1999 and broker’s license in 2004. She loves renovating old homes that need a little TLC. Right now Ann resides in Mt. Pleasant with her two dogs and husband in an 1880’s home she renovated herself. In addition to real estate, Ann has owned Consigning Women and Men for over 20 years. She also enjoys spending time on the water, cycling, walking the beach, tennis, and yoga.
