Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Colin Crates has always held a special love for the Lowcountry, fostered by annual vacations to Kiawah Island and a passion for the immense history of the Charleston area. When it came time to choose a college, he had no doubt that he would return to the area as a College of Charleston undergrad. Colin studied Political Science and International Studies at CofC, graduating with honors. After graduating, Colin found real estate to be a natural progression, utilizing his natural people skills, hard work ethic and overall love of the Charleston area to help others call Charleston their home, too.
