Joy was born in Perth Australia and lived in England, Scotland, France, South Africa and Sweden before moving to the United States. Sixteen house moves between seven countries and three states within the U.S. have enhanced her understanding of buyers’ and sellers’ needs. Attracted by the European feel of Charleston, along with its rich history, wonderful architecture, strong arts community and stunning natural beauty, Joy and her family selected Seabrook Island as a place to build their new home. After more than 20 years of living by the water in Australia, she feels very comfortable calling Charleston and the wonderful expanses of the Lowcountry home. Joy has a background in high end sales, working in property management in London England and in the fine art world as a consultant with Portraits, Inc. of New York.  Since 2006, she has been actively involved in Charleston real estate, was featured in the “Top 10 Sold List for Kiawah and Seabrook,” and has been noted as a Realtor® of Distinction.
