December is such a beautiful time of year in the Lowcountry and there are endless activities to partake in. The dunes properties crew got together for their annual holiday parade party at The Real Estate Studio on King Street for front row seats for the City of Charleston Holiday Parade last weekend.

If you missed the Tree Lighting Ceremony and Parade last weekend, not to worry, there is plenty more to do! This weekend the Mt. Pleasant Holiday Parade takes place, along with the Parade of Boats.

Holiday Parade of Boats

December 13th, beginning at approximately 5:00PM near the Mt. Pleasant side and ends in the Ashley River, (after processing down the Charleston side of the Cooper River), at approximately 7:30PM

Mt. Pleasant Christmas Light Parade and Tree Lighting

December 14th, The tree lighting and fireworks display begins at approximately 5:30 pm at Moultrie Middle School, immediately followed by the parade beginning at around 5:45 pm. The parade starts at the intersection of Coleman Boulevard and Pelzer Drive, then continues past Shem Creek to conclude at the Sea Island Shopping Center around 7:15 pm.

King Street Holiday Shop & Stroll

A ticketed event where more than 80 retailers will offer a night of shopping, holiday celebration and fun with complimentary refreshments, makeovers, trunk shows, specials and gifts.

Oysters at the Point and Holiday Market

December 13th, Buckets of Oysters, Chili, Hamburgers, Chicken Sandwiches, Bloody Mary Bar and live music from Plane Jane.

Festival of Lights

Featuring over 700 displays and two million lights, the Holiday Festival of Lights is a cherished holiday tradition for many families throughout Charleston and beyond. From November 14 – January 1.
